On Tuesday night (Taco Tuesday), I had dinner with Ni at the Reel Inn in Malibu. This is definitely my new favorite place to go on Tuesday nights. I loved the vibe (suuuuuuper low key), the location (the beach), the view (the back of the dining area looks out at the mountains, while the front looks out at the ocean), and most importantly, the Fish Tacos (although everything looked amazing). As you walk in, you are immediately greeted by their display case filled with fresh fish of all varieties (among them, Salmon, Orange Roughy, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Trout, Seabass, etc), and they make ordering pretty simple (there are only three different options to chose from in terms of preparation; grilled, sauteed, and cajun). Of course, since it was Taco Tuesday, we opted for the Fish Tacos. They were not too big, not too small, the tortillas were hot (not soggy), the fish was perfectly grilled (not dry or chewy AT ALL), and for two of them, it cost $5! The salsa reminded me of the salsa at Surf Taco in New Jersey (which happens to be the worlds greatest salsa), so I was in heaven.
